What learners should know (content) and be able to do (skills), serve as the framework for curriculum development. Standards in NAD Seventh-day Adventist schools reflect the Adventist worldview across the K-12 curricula as well as the integration of national and provincial/state standards.
Saguaro Hills Adventist Christian School follows a standard based curriculum. Students work in a multi-grade environment. For example, TK-1st, 2-4th, and 5-8th grades are grouped together. Subjects such as Bible, Art, Science, Social Studies and PE are taught as whole group in each class. Each grade level or student levels are grouped on a skill based performance in Math and Language Arts. To see what standards are taught at each grade level please see the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Education page for Standards.
